Well my death certainly isn't a bad way to go. I guess I'm going to die from a Phantom sneaking up behind me and assassinating me. Quick and near painless.

At least you didn't die by triping like someone else in this thread. (Jay!)

Haha, my last death was epic, I was killed by a plane hitting me after my friend ejected out in Battlefield 3.

I think the last time I died was in Sonic 3D Blast on genesis... But, I don't remember how it happened..

Anyway, the time before that, I was playing Sonic the Hedgehog.. Marble Zone, act 3. There's a part where you have to push the block into the lava bed, and you must jump to a ledge on the right, after the fire lifts you.

Well, I hadn't played that particular area in so many years, that, I just totally forgot. But, I missed the jump, because there's a platform overhead, and if you don't jump, there's nothing but a wall..

After screwing up once, I tried it again, except I didn't have anymore rings.. Tried the jump again, and fell right back down into the flame pit.

So, yeah, it hurts.

Of course, you know, after all of that, I remember how i died in sonic 3D... I tried to kill the purple cone enemy with the spike ball... Had no rings. I was only on act 2 of Green Grove..

So, yeah, it still hurts.. Good thing I wasn't playing Uncharted 3, or Twisted Metal last, or, there would have been some kinda explosion involved.

Can you die in Need for Speed? If so, I'll die in a Bugatti Veyron with 400 km/h on a highway by hitting an oncoming car :)

NFS cars seem pretty invincible to me :p

If you crash several times the race will be over, though. At least in Hot Pursuit :)
