Amazon France has revealed that Sony Computer Entertainment will be releasing a new software bundle for the Playstation 3 in the near future. The “Resistance Trilogy Platinum” includes the Platinum Range (which is the equivalent to Greatest Hits line in North America) versions of Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance 2 and Resistance 3 (you can check out some screens form the last game in the trilogy in the slideshow to the left of this article).

The Resistance Trilogy Platinum bundle has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of 59.99 Euros (or approximately $78.36 in U.S. dollars). Sony Computer Entertainment will be releasing it in France on May 16th.

The first-person shooting series began on November 17, 2006 with the release of Resistance: Fall of Man in North America. Resistance 2 then came out on November 4, 2008, followed by Resistance 3 on September 6, 2011. All three games are developed by Insomniac Games.

I thought that they would do this with the Killzone trilogy than with Resistance but I guess I will finally get into the series once it is released.

It will be $60US. Europe just gets the shaft pricing wise like that. The Vita is 250 USD and Euro I believe.

Already have those games. EA should do the same with Mass Effect

That's a ridiculous price for those games. Well not ridiculous but simply too much. But then again, I suppose I don't really care much for the series anyway so this ought to be a good thing actually.

European prices always include Taxes, US prices usually don't

Rip-off my azz. New games are always 59 euros in mainland Europe while in the UK they're around 36-40 pounds and not 59 pounds.
