Ohh shit, damn!!! Reyne Bitch slapping Sharla :-O that was highly unexpected. The Terminator Dying, and Fiora just being awesome. Sweet mother of Jesus I love this game. And Fiora is the best female Character since Tali´Zorah herself. But I got to say the fight against Gadolt was a very tough one. I tried several combinations and Fiora/Shulk/Sharla was the one that beat him. That was the hardest battle so far. The only bad thing today was, the Heropon went silent :-/ a day witout the Heropon is a lost day.

Everybody with a Wii should buy this game. EVERYBODY it deserves to become the next Final Fantasy.

Yes, let's not get sidetracked with Skyward Sword. Though it does have the best puzzles I've ever seen outside of a puzzle game...
Anyway, I'm nearing Prison Island. The story is getting very, very interesting.

Just got past there just recently, the story is really starting to hit the right beats, getting harder to do most of the side quests like I used to. This game is awesome.

So if these numbers are correct, including the numbers for Europe, this game is going to do 700k-750k by the end of the year almost certainly.
Question is, can we do something to give it a chance at reaching a million worldwide?
I never thought I'd be seriously considering this scenario, but now that it looks like there is actually a chance to make it happen, I feel like we should do something to help the game out!

Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!

ok, quick update.
Last time I posted about playing the game was about two weeks ago. Unfortunately I didn't have too much free time since then, but I did manage to play the game for another 5 hours or so, after a long time that I hadn't touched it.

I think I understand better now what to expect of this game, and seeing that it is such a huge experience, there's no point in nitpicking on all the little details. Having said that, it also turns out I wasn't as far into the game as I had remembered (only just got to the ether mines), and it does seem like the game is starting to pick up and be more diverse and interesting.

I truly have no idea how long it will take me to finish Xenoblade, at my current rate it could take me a year or more, but I'm hoping to be able to complete it during the summer if all goes according to plan.

So this is just a note basically saying I am enjoying the game more than I was before.

Yes, I agree. It is a VERY nice, but difficult (!) boss fight. Important that you don't progress too far now past that point, as the areas with timers on lock out in the next boss fight. So, be careful!

Also, it is a very good game. It's certainly better than anything Squeenix has released in the past decade or so...

That sounds cool. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it, but, of course, it's difficult doing it without being able to play for long periods of time. It's one of those games which you really need to appreciate by playing it for a fair few hours continuously, over a few days, to really get hooked by the story. It doesn't matter how long it takes anyway, so long as you're enjoying it!

Also, yes, if VGC numbers are right, we could easily be looking at 800k by year's end. But it's if the VGC numbers are right. Take nothing for granted!

Yeah, certainly picks up doesn't it story-wise! And the story only continues to gain traction, even if the areas do get a bit tighter...still very good, though, and you'll be playing just to see how the story resolves.

The area after it (Valak) is one of my favourite areas TBH. Brilliant area. Plenty of secrets. That's what I like!

The only thing I can think of is mouth propaganda. And there are Wii people who havent bought this maybe convince them to give it a try. And maybe start a group on facebook.

Nah, that's fine...just about. I mean when Junks takes you out of the Mechonis, don't head back to Junks and kill Egil again. This is the area where EVERYTHING gets locked out (as you could imagine). You currently can go anywhere in the Mechonis, but you can't fast-travel. So go do some quests, and do all those which are timed!
