Man this game looks like Left 4 Dead on crack. Pretty impressive that they managed to get these advanced lighting effects working on PS360 too, but after seeing the Zelda tech demo it should be a no brainer that the Wii U is capable of pulling off such lighting effects.

I've got to say, as someone who was hoping the next Nintendo console would at best be comparable to the PS4/Xbox 720, it doesn't exactly sound like a ringing endorsement of 'next-gen' technology in the system. 

I think that's a compelling experience. I think the machine itself will be one of the best looking versions of the game, because they've got more RAM than some of the other things and they're late in the cycle, so they've got this really great processor and all that kind of stuff.

I think it's a really nice bridge to the next generation.

I'm hoping the cynic in me is wrong, but I wouldn't hang on to these comments as confirmation of anything special. The wait for E3 continues.

That really depends on how powerful you think the PS4 and Next X will be.   Current rumors for both of them aren't all that powerful either.

Very true, but every single source has pointed at a sizeable jump in tech from the last generation, and I think we all know in our heart of hearts that both companies will aim for as big a leap as possible under or around the $400 price bracket. 

of course, it's all speculation. But that seems to be the reality of the situation based on what we've heard. 

I think this should be  in the gaming section. This says way more about the game itself than the Wii U. It seems hard to judge if it will be scary and that will matter the most. I want to be scared at the level that dead space can do and if it does it it is a winner, on my PS3.

There's a lot that we can do with that screen. It's a really cool system -- it's pretty powerful. I want to be careful, because I don't want to risk any sensitive information that Nintendo's not ready to share yet, but in our experience it's a great system. I think it's a really nice bridge to the next generation.

I wonder what he means by 'bridge to the next gen'.

I'm not really impressed about this title (gameplay wise). I hope it turns out to be great though.
