E3 demo looked horrible and on-rails. You're sitting there and 3 programmed trolls appear on your screen shooting fireballs at you and you have to dodge them and counter attack. Meh...

do you have a 360?

I had a 360 until it died on me, Ive played both Fable 2 and 3, you wanna see my gamertag?

no you answered my question...

so now i wonder why you care.

Wait you asked him if had an xbox and now you are saying why does he care? you're the one who is caring if he had one or not.

Give a kinect game a chance? Not happening.

The gaming elite have let it be known that kinect isnt a bona fide gaming device.

Gaming is serious manly business!!

It's not that their giving us any real reason to think otherwise. And it seems silly for a developer to tell the consumers to don't buy when the main reason their making the game is to sell to the consumer.

If they think the criticism is unfainr, then they should prove us with their game why we're wrong.

Fable the Journey seems promising enough. I hope they manage to make at least something decent.

Reading Kowe's comment and then yours made me literally lol :D

He is making fun of a group of freaking nerds, who basically failed in live and you go: Yep, that's me!

Internet, please never change!

Ironic coming from one of the biggest Microsoft nerds.

Wasn't Super Mario Sunshine a 3rd Person Shooter? ;P

Seriously though, I just watched a video about Steel Battallion and it actually looks like they implimented the Kinect technology really well. I think that hopefully other developers will learn how to utilize the Kinect in a way that works well for gamers. I'm personally just not sure if they can do that with Fable: The Journey. Of course that could just be my feelings that the Fable series is notorious for falling short of mine and my friends expectations.

I'm also amped to try Steel Battalion. I'll probably never get to try the original due to the ridiculous (and awesome) controller.

Better yet, the new Steel Battalion is made by From Software, so (to me atleast) is guranteed a great game.

He asked him if he has an Xbox, the poster said no, Kowenicki asks why he cares about an Xbox exclusive... I don't see the problem with it. Why would someone that doesn't own a 360 care about this game?

It's funny, not a single line in his 'defense' of why this is a good game includes anything about the actual game itself, not the gameplay, the soundtrack, the story, even the graphics, nothing.

Pathetic.

Thats just it.

People know little about the game, but choose to bash it cause its kinect based. The hate for this game is undeserved and the devs dont have to dish out details to appease us....thats for E3.

Right now is just telling people to get off the kinect hate train and go into this game with an open mind.

Tease.

That was one of the lamest set of comments from a dev I've ever seen.

And the Mario analogies are TOTALLY not applicable here AT ALL. It makes no sense. I don't need to spell it out because only a retard wouldn't know why.

Apart from that, he has no right to bring Mario into this.

And who is he trying to appeal to with these comments?

-20% respect points.

I bet the reviews are going to hit 'em hard.

The Mario reference means that a established franchise has spinoffs. Mario spinoffs are ok but since this one is kinect based and not Fable 4 the game gets automatic hate. He was pointing out how unfair the criticism is and how ignorant it is.

Has no right? Its just an opinion. Dont act like he just insulted your religion.

He is appealing to the gamer elite who think its trendy and cool to bash motion gaming, trying to tell them to wait and see, that the game might actually surprise them.

Your final comment implying that due to these quotes, reviewers will give lower review scores. This isnt the user rated section on metacritic that is 95% emotion and 5% detached professional opinion. Reviewers will rate this game based on its inherent quality, not emotionally charged reviews based on someones opinion of their game. You can loose 100% respect for them for all I care, but that has no bearing on how good the game possibly is. Try to remember that.

I have a 360 & immensely enjoyed the first fable & agree with his description 100%.

Why would anybody care about game sales who isn't some industry exec? Because people like to follow & comment on gaming as a whole. Implying that you should only voice opinions on games and systems you own is an embarassingly misguided thing to say.
