Without Peter Fable now stands a chance of being a great game. I hope Fable IV his a great game but Journey is a no-buy for me.

In all seriousness, this has a greater chance to convince me to buy a 36o than any other exclusive. if only I didn't have 50+ bew games I've yet to start playing.
Btw, I still don't get the Peter hate. Black and White and Fable are two of my favourite franchises.

"What they're trying to do, by marrying core gaming with Kinect, is obviously tricky. It's a difficult control mechanism to get into core gaming."
Now that is definitely not staying on message with Kinect. Kinect = great core gaming experiences. That's the message. Saying it's tricky to fit into core gaming is telling the core gamer exactly what they feared to be true: it's the casualisation of Xbox boys, might as well go back to PC.
For all Peter Molyneux was a big BSer about some things he knew how to stay on message. Even when the walls were crashing down around Milo Molyneux never once expressed any doubt about Kinect being the dawn of a new age of gaming. "Difficult control mechanism to get into core gaming" sounds defeatest and desperate. Why would you do that?
Fable: The Journey will stand or fall on its merits, the guys making it shouldn't be running around shooting themselves in the foot by unintentionally running down Kinect as a core gaming controller.
And Holy crap, I just noticed this "Fable 4 is reportedly "a proper, controller based" game". What is wrong with these people? Kinect isn't for "proper games". Do these people not see the subliminal messaging that's in these statements?
It's a bad piece of PR which isn't going to help the cause of Fable: The Journey or Kinect. I just hope it gets forgotten soon enough that it does no harm.
Someone lock these guys in the computer room and get proper PR folks on the job of promoting the game and Kinect.

Pleading for special treatment rarely works. They should take the Nintendo route and simply release the stuff and focus on customer and general press reaction. A lot of Wii games got middling reviews and "waggle" comments all around from core gaming press/gamers but sold very well and were hugely popular.
In general when you ask for special treatment you tend to get slammed even harder if you don't deliver - so this isn't really the best approach from Lionhead IMHO.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Hey, another Kinect game thread and yet more belittling of the users here.
Yesterday it was pathetic, today they are failures in life. Shocking...
Stay classy Chartz.

That was one of the lamest set of comments from a dev I've ever seen.
And the Mario analogies are TOTALLY not applicable here AT ALL. It makes no sense. I don't need to spell it out because only a retard wouldn't know why.
Apart from that, he has no right to bring Mario into this.
And who is he trying to appeal to with these comments?
-20% respect points.
I bet the reviews are going to hit 'em hard.
Mark my words, Molyneux will distance himself more and more from Kinect as time goes by. He surely knows the limits of Kinect by now and within a couple of years he will express regret of hyping it up like he did.
Hating on kinect just because its kinect. I mean wait for the reviews at least.
