Forums - General - Man Gets Tazed And Takes It Like A boss

He doesn't even flinch when he gets tazed. In fact he doesn't even drop his cigarette.

I was walking down along the street and I heard this voice saying, "Good evening, Mr. Dowd." Well, I turned around and here was this big six-foot rabbit leaning up against a lamp-post. Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.

He should get a medal for being so boss

I think Black Dynamite might have been based on this man.

Shrek?

Why did they even tase him, he wasn't exactly being physically violent.

Quite impressive though, maybe the cop had it on a low setting? (do they have variable power outputs?) or perhaps the needles didn't penetrate properly.

That's what i'm wondering. Couldn't see it very closely, however, but you definitely shoot to stun when you use those, so i don't think you would deliberately employ a lower setting.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Basil you livin in the past man! Snes has kept you isolated! Time to move on to the N64.

So was this an episode of cops or something? Why would it be filmed? Sadly the cops had to actually get "durty" and take them down the old fashion way, which should not been a part of this that confused basil.

l0l

I shall soon no worries ;p

Didnt know they updated the technology for that my bad D:

I'm from the UK where the police don't carry tasers... I've never seen one and they don't feature much on TV or anything, as such I don't understand how an American (who apparently get tased just for talking to the police) doesn't know how a taser works.

A taser fires two darts at the miscreant. The darts are attached to thin wires so that when the trigger is kept depressed the circuit is complete with however many volts. The darts have barbed ends so they would rip the skin if you tried to pull them out, which means the taser can be used again if neccessary (if you have seen Meet the Fockers the cop near the end keeps tasing the main character)

It's hard to tell in the vid but I suspect one of the darts didn't penetrate, which means the circuit doesn't complete.
