One thing could be that the front page is way too cluttered for people who are visiting. Actually that goes for the site as a whole; it's too cluttered and the way to fix was not the separation of the GameDB and gamrReview.

This. And despite the awkward split, game pages on the old gamrreview.vgchartz.com are way better than those on www.gamrreview.com, that maybe has a coherent focus on reviews, as its name suggests, but isn't as complete as the old. I guess we'll have to wait for the transition to be complete, but should something of the old, very complete and useful gamrreview be lost it wouldn't be an improvement. When I want to know things different from sales about a game, I go to the old gamrreview, even if I'm actually just interested in a review, as should I later want to look for other stuff, old gamrreview offer me a far better starting point and more complete and broader infos.
