Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo top 5 software success and failures this generation

I'm only at the second temple in Skyward Sword, but, to me, it is the most boring Zelda game I've played. There are also some annoying things that get to me more often than previous ones. Maybe I'm not in a good state of mind to be playing it. All I know is that it's probably my least favorite one right now.

Then you have bad tastes. Anyway, you have not played the best parts of that game yet.

Imo:

+ New Super Mario Bros series
+ Super Smash Bros Brawl
+ The Mario Kart games
+ TLoZ: Twilight Princess
+ Super Mario Galaxy 1/2

- Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (I'm pretty sure they expected higher sales given the Wii's success)
- TLoZ: Skyward Sword
- Wii Music
- Metroid Other M
- F-Zero (for not releasing it)

You really should have added the Wii-series there! THAT'S what defined Nintendo this generation! What would the Wii be without Wii Sports, Wii Fit and the likes?! Those are the game that made it possible for Nintendo to win this generation.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

How about Wii Sports, or Mario Kart Wii, or SSBB? I would have to call those massive successes.

BTW, Metroid :Other M might be a success in sales (depending in who you talk to), but it is a failure as a game in my eyes. I have gone on ad nauseum why on several occasions. Using a D-Pad to navigate a 3D environment, rooted to the ground missile shooting nonsense, tapping the D-Pad to win, not being able to explore, etc. See, I didn't even mention the abysmal story or the way that Samus' character was destroyed.
