if you like jrpgs get them on PS3 even if multiplatform
most JRPGs are better on PS3, it's one of the few games that usually get the better treatment

tales of vesperia comes to mind, on ps3 everthing is voice acted and you get an extra character as opposed to 360 where you only get a percentage

other then that metal gear solid 4 and MAG are great, and both are probably $15 by now
Mag is battlefield with a huge team, less emphasis on vehicles though
MGS4 is fun to mess around with bad guys

About Killzone 2. The single-player is decent but the multiplayer is where it really shines. I recommend you play it for a few hours before giving up on it. Your impressions will probably be filled with annoyance (like me) but after you become accustomed to the controls, it really is amazing.

Also, LittleBigPlanet & Infamous if those are your types of games.

Yakuza 3 and Yakuza 4

I have recently sold my PS3, but my favorite games on it were definitely Valkyria Chronicles and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.

VC is a great SRPG (SJRPG?) and while obviously the rest of the Uncharted series is also very good, my favorite was definitely the original.
