I like insects unless they eat my garden. In that case I slaughter them with a passion, snails included. I don't kill insects for no reason though and actually like watching them.

I consider them all bugs so they are included.  There is basically only 5 differences between the classes Arachnida and Insecta.   Worms aren't even close but they are bugs.  Here how about I change it to the bug thread.  Will that please you?  Probably not

 

 

Well strictly speaking bugs are a specific type of insect (those with 3 body compartments and 3 pairs of legs) but as bugs can also be used as a general term for creepy crawlies I would let you off

Yea, if you want to get technical...

Specifically, an insect of the order Hemiptera, known as the "true bugs".

You should release a bunch of ladybugs into your garden.  They will take care of a decent amount of plant pests.

Weird how they like to land on you sometimes.  They have little to no fear of humans (probably because they are so cute).
