im thinking of going back a gen and buying a PS2! i really loved the PS1 & PS3 but felt as if i didnt really explore the PS2 as i was a teen and just played GTA over and over and over and over again.. for 6 years.. urgh.

anyway..

i wanted to know of the BEST games available for the system! i would preffer if the games didnt have HD ports available on PS3 as i would rather buy them on there but feel free to list them anyway.

im a big fan of Adventure/platformers/racers(like Motorstorm) and a big fan of Sony first part studios.. 

so list me the games you think i really need to play and i may pick them up :D

i plan to do the samething. i know i missed allot of great games, mostly jrpg's) so asap i hope to get a PS2.

I would recommend doing this. It could keep you entertained! (Or make you want to kill yourself.) Either way... it's a better experience than just going to GameStop or searching for a PS2 online.

plus you could play ps2 games with your wireless DS3 very hard to find though and they will be expensive in some cases more than a brand new ps3, also EU PS3s i believe didnt have the emotion engine but did B/C strictly through emulation

Where to buy one? I have heard about a store called Game that needs to get rid of some stock ^^''..

I recommend the JRPG's Persona 3 and Persona 4 considering they are quite amazing experiences that don't feel outdated while most of the game you will get on PS2 will..
