With the HD collections (Jack & Daxter 1, 2, 3 + MGS, 2, 3 + ICO, SotC + FFX + SH 2,3 + GoW 1, 2 + DMC 1,2,3 + Sly 1,2,3 + R&C 1,2,3, Tomb Raider trilogy... ) you have 24 (!!) of the best games already. If I haven't missed any.

It's difficult to find racing games that are as good as than current ones, perhaps GT4.

And you say you played GTA to death already.

So you are almost covered with popular titles really. If you like JRPG's then KH and Persona series. Yakuza if you liked 3 and 4.

If you love TlotR, try the EA games, they have a really fun co-op! Much better than Third Age.

Shadow of Destiny


OH EM GEE, how could i forget about this, played it on PC (Still have a Copy.. FUCKING Windows 7 doesnt play it), best-adventure-game-ever. (Or its up there with the best of the system at least)..

(PS: Its called Shadow of Memories outside of the US, i think its worth mentioning)

I'm thinking the best ones are already on PS3 and most of Japan's RPGs and obscure (but succesfull) titles will most certainly get rereleases in the future. Okami is on Wii, Persona is on Vita, etc.

no, really, in my opinion those 2 alone are a reason to buy a PS2, and they are easilly in the top-games-list of the System.

(tho' i'd start with P4, in my Opinion, its the superior one.)


Never really be interested in it.. but i guess i could give it a go! 4 first then?

Okay, to be fair with you, if you dont have the slightest interrest in the Series, you can let the games be, but i strongly recommend Persona Games to everyone who is open to a very unique kind of RPG. (Oh, and it is at 90/100 on Metacritics, not bad, eh?)

If you intend to give it a shot, yes, i would say you should start with P4 first. And it isnt really expensive, its around 12,99gbp on ebay.co.uk, i payed 30€ for a used copy, and i would have payed double the ammount if i knew what awaits me behind those shallow graphics. =] ~ didnt have it on my radar either, i just recently played it, late last year. and well, after a high entry barrier, it growed on me, and eventually became my Favourite Game ever.
