Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Epic Mickey 3DS is the sequel to Castle of Illusion (Genesis)

As someone who lived in Orlando (and worked at a theme park) for several years - I can't stand the cult that is Disney. This conflicts greatly with my love of 2D platformers. I wonder what will win out?

I wonder if I now should get that game for my son. I have Castle of Illusion. And he will play just about anything.

Looks fantastic. I really can't wait for it to come out this holiday season. ^_^

Hopefully I'll get my issue of Nintendo Power soon so I can read all about it!

I thought you were trying to collect them all?  Your collection has to almost rival Angry Video Game Nerd's collection.  However, he has fans that donate items to him while you have to purchase everything.  Who are you kidding?  You are going to buy it.

I was hoping it would look like the console versions... *disappointment*. :/

But... that's why there's the console versions.

3D Action-Platformer and a 2D Action-Platformer... the best of both worlds.

I would've been more fine with having this 2D platformer if they would've have put Epic Mickey 2 on the Wii U, huff.

I'll probably still buy it. XD

We still don't know if the game is coming to the Wii U. Warren was pretty quick to change the subject when it was brought up in the GTTV interview.

I know it's rough, but it's gonna be 67 days until E3... we just have to wait and see.

Either way, I'll be playing Epic Mickey 2 on my Wii U (yay backwards compatibility!).

Hopefully my wish will come true! ^_^ I'm also lucky E3 is the last week of school. I might have to take off the 7th as it seems it'll be big this year. And who cares If I miss one day of the last week. XD I CAN'T WAITTTTT!

Looks like you're already on the hype train! Better get on board myself.
