Consoles were built to play games. Although consoles are quickly adding things like Netflix, Facebook and on demand TV, games will always be at the heart of the console.

Which console has got the best and most games?

To find the answer we have to delve past the internet talk and PR claims and strip it right back to the facts. We will find out the rise, and maybe fall, of the quantity and quality of game support for each console. Has Kinect affected the quality of 360 software? Was 2011 the year where the PS3 excelled in games? Does the quality of games on the Wii match the exceptional hardware sales? We will find all this out.

It's all subjective, comes down to opinions really rather than cold hard facts. The ps3 has fulfilled most of my gaming desires this gen so it wins in my book for games and what not.

True. But it's nice to see what console got what support in terms of quality and quantity. Some things surprised me while I was collecting the data.

best games? 360, it does multiplatform games better then the rest, and the exclusives it does have are 20times better then the competition.

most exclusives? between wii or PS3, however, most wii exclusives are shovelware or only exclusive because of wii controlls/nintendo first party so i would give it to ps3

best motion control i'l give to the wii, but only because kinect has the worst games ever.

best arcade games is easily 360, but the PS3 has a very awesome arcade as well, plus things actually go on sale.

best retro game store is the wii, old nintendo games are good.

tbh if MS adopted the PSN+ model and had massive sales for gold members, then made some good exclusives again like the beginning of the gen it would be great.

PS3. Wide variety of different games. In addition some multiplatform games now comes with more exclusive content and upgraded graphics. examples are Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and Tales of Vesperia.

The exclusives for PS3 is only possible on PS3 hardware.

based on that, this is my choice.

didn't read the whole article but i checked out all the graphs. The info looks to be presented well. I was suprised that the 360 releases so many games.
