I am so frustrated at the rumours going around that Prey 2 has been cancelled. Last year at PAX Prey 2 became one of my most anticipated titles of 2012. The demo was amazing and I thought about the game the whole bus ride home. I pre- ordered it already and was freaking ly excited I couldn't wait. Then the announcement came of the rumour that Prey 2 has been cancelled. I am seriously upset I was really excited for the title. It would be awesome if the game is on the verge of being cancelled then Nintendo or Microsoft jump in and fund the finishing of the project. The game just looked so good. I really hope that the game is not cancelled anyone else as upset about the idea the game could be cancelled. I was looking forward to the game almost as much as WiiU and FarCry3.

Well, the original Prey sucked... So this one's cancellation won't be that horrible of news

I am not hugely excited, but it did look decent, so if this is true it is sad news, especially as it will probably mean more people laid off

considering how interesting it sounded and how amazing it looked I can't see Bethesda cancelling the game. This is the company that released Brink and Hunted and is now flush with cash. I have my suspicions the "source" is probably the guy that "leaked" the cancellation of Doom 4, which turned out to be totally false.

Zarx hope your right. I didn't really love the first Prey I almost skipped the demo at PAX because I was not interested. Luckily the convention hall was closing and half the booths were shutting down when I heard the booth announce the final demo of the convention. I was passing by on my way out of the Convention Center and decided I wanted to enjoy PAX as long as possible even if it meant only 20 more minutes. I was so glad I stuck around and saw the demo the game just looked so stunning and I loved the game play I saw. I was so psyched for the game after PAX.

If it is cancelled I will be devastated if it is a launch title for WiiU I will be in heaven lol

I enjoyed the first one some of the game play was very innovative at the time. However I lost interest in 2 when I read that they were throwing out everything I liked in the first one.
So I guess I don't care. No clue what the 2nd one was supposed to be like.
