I don't usually eat cereal.. But when I do, I put cereal first.

Soy milk is absolutely revolting. It tastes less tasteless than water!

I have my morning cereal without the cereal.

I drink my milk from a glass and keep the serial where it should be, On a shelf, in a store.

As the milk, being a liquid, will find its way into the empty spaces via capillary action,
it is just common sense that the cereal element should exist in the bowl first.
Otherwise, there is the inevitable “push-down” action as the cereal floats on the top of the milk when added second.

Cereal first, unless I'm planning on having multiple bowls but I don't want to take the jug of milk with me to the bedroom or something. Then I'll pour a bowl of milk and part of a glass and take both with me.

You know, that's a brilliant point -seconds.  Almost everyone here is guilty of pouring their cereal in the milk during a second round. Therefore the OP is, by default, a hypocrite!

My bowl ends the same way it started and multiple bowls won't change anything.

Drinking the remaining milk out of the bowl is one of my favorite pleasures in life.

OP is 100% completely correct. Anyone who dares to break that law deserves 10 whiplashes.
