Thanks to some Baal runs farming on Players 8 difficulty and 200% MF, I now have got this:

and this:

The Undead Crown was socketed via quest reward for anyone wondering. I haven't had this good of a necro build since the ladder days where you could just trade runes for everything.

Woah! What level are you now? I finished normal at level 48, don't think I've ever done that before!

The Baal throne room was insane on "players 8", the minions of destruction were worth over 300.000 xp per piece... I think I'll go farm them for gear and xp for a while since I'm not getting any xp on nightmare as is.

Thanks to a lot of farming, i'm currently at 51, though I've done most of Act I of Nightmare as well.

While the Minions of Destruction drop a shitload of exp (though at my current level the exp returns are getting much, much lower), they haven't dropped any kind of good gear, other than Exceptional tier inventory (got my current Rare Ghost Armor from them, after I imbued it on Charsi as I still had the imbue from Normal), though Baal more than makes up for them in terms of drops

Last Baal run I did he dropped 2 uniques and 1 set.

Now Witch Doctor is where it's at

They took the best from both the Summoning and Poison trees from the Necro on D2 and created a pretty fun class to play (or so I hope). My first class on D3

You said you had your character all planned out... what skills are you planning on using?

Basically my build is going to be based around Grasp of the Dead, which basically acts as a Decrepify while dealing constant physical damage. The slowing down can set up enemies properly for Firebombs and Sacrifice Zombie Dogs.

I'm pondering either between pumping Haunt or wait for Locust Swarm, though Haunt seems to be the better choice depending on the gear I get.

Haunt seems like a good skill since you always get the maximum damage out of it since it moves onto other enemies if it kills its first target.

Yeah, but it's highly dependent on gear to get a good physical damage, so it'll depend on what I get. Locust Swarm seems more constant and also moves onto other targets, but it'll also depend on what immunities enemies get.

Meet Emilio, mercenary, might-aura'ed, overall badass, the nightmare of Nightmare difficulty enemies and bosses alike and his trusty "Insight" runeword etheral Bill:

That level 15 meditation Aura means a mana recovery of +650%, which is basically an infinite Corpse Explosion pass. That, couple with my 18 minions army (9 Skeletons, 8 Mages and 1 Clay Golem) has made Nightmare basically easy mode xD.

All skills that do damage in D3 are gear dependent which is awesome.

I too will be going WD for my first class mainly for zombie bears!
