Got a new 320gig PS3 and deactivated all accounts because I was doing a data transfer from old 60gig PS3 to New Sim PS3.

Now the problem I have is my Sons account is a sub account, and he has game purchases under his acount.

How do I have it so the old PS3 is in his room with his acount info, and have the new PS3 in the living room with my account info?

Noe: I already reactivated my Main account on new PS3.

I say just transfer everything over from your old PS3 to the new PS3, deactivate your son's account on your new PS3 and reactivate it on your old PS3.  Dispite what it says the transfer method doesn't delete everything off the old PS3 it just leaves it there.

I believe that each account is allowed to have consoles activated with it, so if you can sign in with your son's psn ID you should already have it activated, if not look through the account settings for activation. If a "sub" account is different then a regular account I'm not too sure. If your talking just a profile on your ps3 well then it's really the psn ID that matters, so either have your son make one or continue using yours, unless you maxed out your activation allotment. If you are using the same ID, the download list is tied to the ID and not a profile on the ps3.
