I've only watched through the first 5 episodes of season 4 so far. Still loving the show overll.

Ep 1 and 2 were pretty good openers. Episode 3 in the castle was also pretty good. I loved episode 4 with daring doo. Episode 5 with the crusaders was meh. I just don't like them as much as the mane six, I guess.

I don't think I ever gave my opinion on the movie either. It was pretty good and the main song is really catchy. You just have to get passed the whole "human" thing, which sounds kind of weird.

"Maud Pie" was a riot. Ace comedic effort, non-forced lesson, and a lovably dour character who is yet quite distinct from "Cranky."

Easily one of the tops of the season alongside the episode with the Breezies, the one with Discord, Cadence, and Twilight, "Bats!", and the one with the relay team.

Here's my transcript.  I'm pretty sure it was "crops", but not 100%; and "Twylie" isn't the way I'd spell the nickname, but that's what it looks like to me. 

"My prince, we need a decision on the (crops?)..."

"...I think we should continue to concentrate on crystal berry production—"
"Why, that's just foolish!  We should be diversifying into apples as well.  In Ponyville, they—"

"You two are always focused on fruit!  I'm here to discuss how off-key the flugelhorns were at the last—"

"I'm so happy to see you!  I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the train station.  Things have been a little crazy with Cadance out of town."

Haven't seen "1,2,3...testing" yet but just from the episodes we've seen so far....I'm willing to say Season 4 is the best one yet. Which is reassuring because I felt Season 3 overall to be lackluster.

Testing itself was a bit obvious in how it established itself, and in learning the lesson (that everyone learns differently). Pinkie rapping, a bit more worldbuilding, and Fluttershy's bizarre animal play (apparently written by Spike) were the highlights, but it felt more lacking.

This is, of course, compared to the "Key" episodes, which have been very strong on the whole

Rule 34 has made me addict to My Little Pony.

Show's hardly over. Season 5 in 2015, and recently a theatrical (musical, ugh) movie.

Lacking cable, i really haven't watched it at all since the last season ended (which i followed online).
