I went to go unfollow Tara Strong on twitter and apparently Power Puff Girls are coming back.

It's a single TV special, not a series revival. Ringo Starr is going to be one of the guest voices, and its being run by United Kingdom's Passion Pictures, with art by Kevin Dart (no idea who that easy, but several people fangasmed on TVTropes)

Dart's rendition

@ Alicorn Twilight. We'll just have to wait and see, won't we? I mean, "Keep Calm and Flutter On" was a stupid idea on the surface, but they pulled it off.

But they are getting the original voices all back together

Oh ok I thought CG meant those 3D models.

It still might. We're not sure what degree of "early" concept art that is.

Former something....

It's obvious that she wouldn't leave her friends. It would completely crush the theme of the show (unless this were the series finale and they meant the whole thing to be one giant troll, where Twilight gets Alicorn powers and is all "fuck you hicks, imma go to Canterlot!"

The way some of you talk about the show you make it sound like a Class A drug lol.

Also here's the spoiler Twilight pic for those who haven't seen it: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=463203013728786&set=a.155347071181050.33326.119249468124144&type=1&theater

I guess it probably is the last episode, I don't see how season 4 can work with Super Saiyan Kami Twilight running around.

Sigh....I used to like this show a lot more. Alicorn twilight might just ruin it for me. I'll still watch the ep but if it turns out bad? I'm quitting.

I don't get it. Why all the negativity? Shows gotta evolve, and three seasons of not-much change at all gets boring. it can't be like How I Met Your Mother, where they manage to go HOW many seasons without meeting the mother? or how The Simpsons, Family Guy, or any other show where nothing changes. Some shows stick in a void, it's clear that My Little Pony isn't one of those shows.

Twilight will ascend and become an alicorn.
the cutie MArk Crusaders will get their cutie marks.
Applejack will learn she doesn't need to work so damn hard all the time.
Rainbow Dash will get into the Wonderbolts.
Fluttershy will grow a spine (kind of already happened)
And the others will all grow up and change.

And you know what? Each new aspect of their lives will come with new challenges, and new ways to test one another, and it's clear the writers are decent, so I'm sure it'll be fine. One change does not destroy a show, it just changes it. and you know what? In a show that's been based around character development and gradual plot arcs, change is inevitable.

So I really don't see where all the negativity is coming from.

Trouble is, season 4 was already confirmed. Plus a DVD movie, so they're going to go somewhere with Princess Twi

No. Fuck that shit. That attitude has hurt a lot of film, TV, book and game sequels. When people tune in for a sequel, they want same formula new content. Don't confuse that with new formula. Character development is fine but this kind of pervasive change is not.
