Gotta agree with you 2, it's AppleJack.

Aw, poor Applejack. My least favourite has to be Twilight Sparkle. She has her moments but I just find her to be a nosy know-it-all.

Nothing to apologize about, i was just pointing it out.

There really is no point reading the whole thing. Most of it is just fan-art and episode banter.

Fluttershy.  Can't stand her.  Well, compared to the others. 

Applejack has the least character development, but she's definitely one of the best ponies, in that she's the most responsible and down to earth.  Fluttershy, on the other hand, is kinda useless and ineffectual and tries WAY too hard to be 'nice' that she just comes across as annoying.  

My rankings: (and keep in mind, Applejack WAS my #2 till Raise This Barn, which kinda ruined her a bit)

1 - Rainbow Dash (she's just awesome!)
2 - Twilight Sparkle (A little neurotic, but  she reminds me a lot of myself and she has by far the best episodes) 
3 - Applejack (Great character and personality, is competitive and responsible)
4 - Rarity (Hated her at first, but she's so cute!  she may be pompous, but she really is a nice pony!)
5 - Pinkie Pie (lots of fun to laugh at, but doesn't really have much depth.)
6 - Fluttershy (Cute, but the shy-factor is often overdone to the point of extreme)

Dash is a clear #1 for me, Twilight, Applejack, and Rarity are so close that they are basically tied for #2, Pinkie pie is a few notches down, and Fluttershy is wayyyy down for me.  I just don't care for a shy demeanour.  Not to say she's not a good character, but I hate that kind of personality, I prefer Dash's in your face no nonsense approach to life.  She's notched up to 11!  

Cutie Mark Crusaders

1 - Scootaloo (like Applejack, not well developed, but she has a great personality and she's fun!)
2 - Sweetie Belle (the most grounded of the three, cute and can sing, basically is Rarity jr)
3 - Applebloom (I dunno, I just think she's kinda bland, to be honest.  Love the southern accent but it seems too much with her)

I know a lot of people prefer Sweetie, and consider Scootaloo the least interesting, but I'm a fan!  Kinda helps that she's partially paralyzed (why she can't fly), and her obsession with Rainbow Dash kinda makes her a companion pony for Dashie!  I'm sure once she's more developed people will like her more; Sleepless in Ponyville did a lot to help her out. 

The main reason I dont like applejack is that she's too responsible I guess, she always seems a litte more serious than the others. Also due to her appearance and personality, I couldn't bring myself to describe her as.... cute. Which in a show about magical coloured ponies is strange. Anyway my order.

My most disliked pony currently is Pinkie Pie, they're making her into a complete idiot and completely going overboard. I'd like to see her do something great again like in that one episode where she fended off that locust swarm.

Outside the mane 6, my least favorite is Babs, the voice just doesn't work for me.

Yeah Pinkie Pie was my favourite pony when I first started watching but recently her personality has just gone even more wierd. Also agree with the voice of babs, didn't bother me overly in the episode that actually focussed on her but when she was in the apple family reunion episode her voice just seemed really wierd.

I still can't see where all this new Pinkie hate propagates from? She still seems the same in the new series.

Interestingly enough, my very first favourite is now my least favourite. Fluttershy. Now, don't get me wrong. She isn't horrible or anything. I just don't like her nearly as much anymore. However, singing Fluttershy is tied for my favourite (along with singing Dash... partly why the Find a Pet song is one of my favourites).

Applejack isn't best pony (she's 3rd best, behind Dash and Twilight), but I have her as my avatar because I love the picture.

I'd like to see her contribute positively towards a situation though instead of making something worse. Also, where's the sophisticated word-humor that she had? I feel that she's just used for slapstick humor and dumbed down lately, I hate her recent potrayals as just hyperactive and non-productive.
