I think it works better because it doesn't have Lyra with actual hands, just her questioning the mechanics of their world.

No I mean at this point it's just lazy joke design. Pick something where hooves aren't appropriate -> insert Lyra.

I think it's because Seth keeps posting 100% of them but normal artwork has a higher bar to make it to Drawfriend.

I'm pretty sure Lyra and Derpy are more popular than Applejack and Rarity. I'm not sure why though?

ok I lost it at the slap! XD That's definitely the first argument tossed out there whenever a fan is confronted "the animation is really good." Heck, that was the reason you guys gave me before I became a brony. I just remember telling myself animation wasn't everything.
