I thinks its best we wait till the next NPD before discredting this sites numbers, besides NPD dont track software bundled with hardware.

There are no Mass Effect 3 Xbox 360 or PS3 bundles.

"GameStop reports that 40 percent of its customers that purchased the game also purchased the day-one download content."
They are flaunting these numbers like they are proud that they just ripped people off. DISGUSTING.

Happy for the game and bioware but what the hell is this. He talks about the day 1 dlc like it is the event of the year. What about the 60% of the people who bought the game at launch day *full price* and didn't get to experience the supposedly full game. Ahh well.

It's the state of the industry today. Very unfortunate. It's good to know you wont be falling for it.

Well that's certainly disappointing. Had a feeling that the pre-orders would be overtracked. Looks like lifetime sales of ME3 won't be much higher than ME2.

I'm just bummed that PS3 numbers are going to be a lot lower than I was expecting. 360 sales will be sweet as.

MW3 did way betterz...

lol, just messing. Looks like a cool game. ^^ Hope it turned out to be fun.

Of course MW will do better. That's the end all/be all for video games sales where as Mass Effect is a good seller that should 3-4 million lifetime.

ea was smart to have day one dlc that you could buy at the cash register for extra cash. an obvious example of a company trying to make money off of it's consumers haha

Very smart indeed, like how it makes me hesistate to buy it for launch price. I'm patient I can wait until I can buy the game on disk + the "day 1" DLC for less than the launch price of the game on disc. EA can have my pound of flesh, they're not getting my brain as well. I still have another one or 2 plays of ME2 to do before I want to play ME3, and a few other games besides. I think I'll be ready to buy towards the end of the year.

Struggling to finish the 2nd one. I find it so boring, pretty reptitive combat that doens't "feel right". It's a 3rd person shooter but didn't feel as good or fluid as Uncharted. The RPG element is very minimal and restrictive. I don't even know why ppl call ME 2 a RPG.
