Not too bad of a price considering it hooks to the Wii U. I wonder if a normal game every month gamer like myself will need anything more than what the Wii U has for storage?

Well I bought it mainly for full game installs (still prefer physical copies).  The 32 gb in deluxe should be ok for eshop games like Trine 2: DCE.

I actually find that % to be low, to be honest.

I always thought that the number of Japanese that buy multiple skus of their consoles only because of a different color or a special themed one, was bigger than 1%.

Why would people be getting the basic version as well when it has not extras? We have seen from pre-orders over here that that is the least sought after version. I can see Japan going for what you said. Different colors and versions. But the Basic version is nothing really.

Because, and it was implicit in my post, we have the impression that there are a lot of Japanese that would buy both only because they are different.

Who could resist to have a WiiU both in black and in white?

@Spurge: Nope. All the basic WiiU's are white and all the pro versions are black.

From the article you posted:

That's why they complain. I guess some want a black console and don't want to pay more because of the extra content.

So how close is it to the number one spot now?

It's number 8 now, but I don't think it'll reach the top. The top most download game is Pushmo. It'll probably end up in the top 5 though and somwhere in the Top 20 All Software (DSiWare, Virtual Console, and eShop titles). It hasn't appeared there yet, but I think once it reaches number 7 it should be. That would be an accomplishment within itself as Nintendo's first retail title on the eShop.
