sethnintendo said: I was looking at the eshop on the 3DS today and saw Denpa Men. The looks like it might be pretty fun. I was wondering if anyone played the demo. I might just have to get the game. Supposedly someone commented on Nintendolife that one of the programmers worked on a previous DQ game. There aren't any reviews out for it that I see but I suppose I will have to check the demo out myself. I found the Nintendolife review finally. For some reason I didn't see it at first but they gave it 9/10. I might have to bite on the game.

I picked up The "Denpa" Men a few days ago and I've been having a blast playing it. It's published by Nintendo and developed by Genius Sonority ( developers made up from people who worked on the DQ, Pokemon, and Earthbound/Mother series)
If you like dungeon crawlers with a unique twist then you should definitely pick it up.
As someone who normally doesn't like dungeon crawlers, I find this game to be entertainng and nut cumbersome at all. The combat system while simplistic is steamlined and flows rather quickly, there are no random battles, and all the dungeons I've been to are structured ( Not randomly generated)
IMO it's defintiely worth the asking price if you like dungeon crawlers or just enjoy the fact that Nintendo is releasing new IPs.
I'm an advocate for motion controls, Nintendo, and Kicking freaking Toad to the Moon!
