^ Zelda for NES was all about exploration: blow up walls (sometimes doors), burn bushes, find the correct way to get out of a maze.

I hope New Legend of Zelda brings some of this back. Even if the world map is smaller they can rearrange the dungeons like in the second run on Zelda NES and tough it up!

Exactly! It was all about exploration! You didn't know where to go, and there weren't a safe hub where you could hide at re-equipped :P

Yea, a new Zelda more aching to the original would be great!!

Good times, good times! :D

Haha tell me about it! It's been such a good time that I haven't been able to beat the game in the 20 years I've had it :D I'm already longing for the second quest and try to find all the dungeons and new secrets :D:D

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Not even after 20 years? :D
Well, i got admit that i had a map to finish the the first quest when i was playing it on NES! ;)
I finished it on my 3DS but i left the 2nd quest for later. Don`t want to end the fun too soon! Now i`m actually playing Metroid Fusion and the the similarities with Metroid Other M are huge!

Haha no, not even after 20 years :D I've been forced to start over quite a few times... First time cuz my baby bro fucking ERASED my save file!!! I would have murdered him if it weren't for our parents intervening :P And after I while I stopped playing NES when N64 and PS1 came out, and it wasn't until much later I started it up again, opting to begin from the beginning to know what the hell I was doin' :P

I too stopped playing the game when N64 came out and only played it again on 3DS. A lot i had forgotten so it was cool to try and remember everything.
It was great to replay it again. Still hard to beat some stages, which is always good! :)

Yeah, it's pretty damn hard :D and that's what's so great about it!! I really, really hope they remakes it in 3D ;)

The 3D remake could happen but i guess if they remake one Zelda in 3D it might be A Link to The Past.
As for New Legend of Zelda i hope Nintendo really takes into consideration the first one and not just the Snes game and of course, add a good 3D effect to it!

Yeah, I've heard Miyamoto talking about how he wanted to make LttP 3d on 3DS! Would be cool cuz I never played that game!! If  you think aboput it original Zelda was kinda one of the first open worlds there was :P And I really really hope they make a gaming more aching to it!!

I bought ALTTP some months ago and i`m still playing. It`s really great! That`s why i hope the New one goes back to those days!
Yeah, Miyamoto was thinking about a version. That would be sweet! :)

Rhythm Hunter: HarmoKnight May Get Groovy in the West

Similar to the Nintendo Life staff reaction

Gotta catch the beats

There are a good numbers of gamers in the West that love Japanese culture and look on with envy at some of the creative, and occasionally wacky, delights that are released in Nintendo's homeland. One of these we may not have expected to see was Rhythm Hunter: HarmoKnight, a rhythm game on the 3DS eShop from Pokémon developer Game Freak, that caught the eye in a Japanese Nintendo Direct earlier this summer.

The good news is that producer Junichi Masuda is keen to see a worldwide release, stating in an interview with IGN that his company is in the process of working out potential details with Nintendo to localise the title.

In terms of a North American or European release, it's definitely something we'd like to do, but we're working out the details with Nintendo now and seeing what would be the best way to get that to players.

Masuda also explained how a British member of Game Freak came up with the idea, with the project apparently running for a year and a half with a team of 25. It's a development culture that gives small

For all that is good in this world, get this game localized!

But I have no doubt it's getting localized... I mean... denpa men was. Denpa. Men.
