To answer your question ryan, I did in fact get Mario Tennis Open. It's amazing fun just like the previous game, though the online is laggy. I haven't fully tried it out, but after I play some more I'll get back into it(plus I got my ass handed to me and I'm still recovering).

This is the plan B if Inazuma Eleven does not make to the west: but it's looking great, sensible-soccer style with that japanese flair I like.

All new pics

I got Mario Tennis Open...

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Probably just the people I've played with. Only played two games.

@spurgeonryan - re: Captain Rainbow. This game looks like it might have only been produced to re-use old characters so their copyrights didn't expire. At any rate, it was definitely a very budget game, targeted at the core-est of Nintendo fans and strickly for the Japanese audience only. A great many of the characters you meet are from games that only released in Japan. So while you're comments about the graphics are fair - generous even, they're N64esque graphics - the appeal of the game is in it's novelty and Nintendo's lampooning of their own creations.

Considering how text heavy (and how incredibly niche) Captain Rainbow is I hadn't even hoped for a fan-translation, especially this long afterwards but that'd be awesome if one happened.

You guys think Level-5 will show off Micarle Mask at E3? Also, do you think Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney will be showcased?

Yes and no.

Mask of Miracle is a given. Layton vs Ace Attorney is still at least 1 and a half year away of being released west.

What about TGS?

Definitely. I think it's also a given. And it's going to be released in japan this year, I think. Maybe we'll hear more from it before TGS. I mean, it's been awhile since we last heard anything from it.
