i probably would go with bioshock as better...but everyone else was already saying it and it doesnt really need any more support. whereas i think singularity is also fantastic and no else seems to know about it.

i bought it for like 10$ only knowing that it was an fps (and probably not a very good one) and was greatly surprised(it now being my second favourite fps this gen). other people ive suggested it to seem to love it as well...so im not quite sure why it has so much trouble gaining recognition.

Errr.... where's Half-Life?

Both games revolutionised single player FPS' more than any other before or after and were the stepping stones for many great franchises like Counterstrike, Team Fortress, Left 4 Dead and Portal.

If we're including hybrid games then Deus Ex wins hands down though.

Killzone! Holy shit the story in KZ2 and KZ3 were epic! Too bad they didn't really go too deep in the story. There is so much they can do in the Killzone franchise.
