Bad marketing for the 360 in general, so no one buys the system. Combine that with a severe lack of games that appeal in Japan (BD is about the only one) and it's a wonder that even 3000 buy it each week there.

I was talking about them marketing blue dragon alot and well, to market a game all you need is a trailer or something, but there is more than BD for the japanese: BD, DOA, Lost Planet, Trusty Bell, Lost Odyssey, Biohazard, DMC, and Infinite Undescovery

BD,DOA, lost planet are the highest selling games in Japan on the 360.  However lost planet was made more with western gamers mind mind despite the fact it was made by capcom.  Half the games you listed aren't even out yet, and are likely to sell well for 360 games.  Biohazard and DMC are multiplatform (DMC only recently announced for 360), and are likely to help the PS3 a lot more than 360.  Honestly the only games have an impact are BD, DOA, and trusty bell.  However we're talking about huge gaps between these games.  Bottom line is Sony has the established sony brand name, better marketing for Japan, and more Japanese style games and still isn't doing very well at all.

When BD came out 360 sales went up over 750%.  Many people are beating BD went and sold the system and game back to the store because there just isn't any other games like that.

I know Blue dragon was marketed very well in japan..

Define well.

They threw a whole lot of money at it, yeah.  They may claim to be happy with the average performance of the game sales, but the marketing budget must have been huge.  I bet the balance sheet on that game is a fun read.

Forza better than GT?  This is news.
