I had the first one, and sold it. It was really grindy compared to persona (I know not technically SMT), and not as interesting to me as nocturne which was a grindfest but fun and my first SMT game. It's music, characters and story seemed interesting (like most atlus games) Though, I have to say now that both it and its sequal can be had easier I might give it a second try at some point.

I wish they ported some of those titles to PSV. Would be much better to finish them on the go.

Cool! DDS is one of my favorites games of all times, it has a very misterious story and the characters are great. The soundtrack is absolutely awesome too.
It's a grindfest though and it's very very hard (still easier than nocturne's) , nevertheless any SMT fan should try this
