If no one has noticed I started and stickied some Official Topics for discussion. There topics are meant to be used for what their subject it. Fanboyism will not be tolerated in any of the threads at all. Official Topics are made to help cut down on clutter on these forums.

The Official game Topics are all about game announcements. Instead of having multiple threads about game X being announced for console Y please direct the post about it into the Official Thread. There is nothing against having a separate topic for each game to discuss the games. This is to help cut down the amount of clutter we get when a new game is announced. I will try to keep the main posts as up to date with new titles announced as much as I can. Message me if the post becomes out of date so I can update it.

The Official Predictions Topic is meant to be a thread to discuss all future titles that we predict to sell well or be AAA titles. AAA titles don't mean that a game will sell systems. For example Okami for the PS2 was an amazing AAA title, it sold poorly. Main post has no reason to be updated but will if there's a good chart or list posted in thread that warrants attention.

The PC Problems Q&A thread is made for all PC users to be able to search for answers about their computer problems. If there is an issue with your PC please post. I'm sure there are a good amount of people on these forums that will be able to help solve your issue, no sweat.

For any official threads I miss I allow any and all mods/admins to edit this post to change/add content.  

Hate to say it SSJ, but this won't work at all. Of course people will still make "Game X announced" threads. Hell, I'll still make "Game X announced" threads, because no one will notice it in the "official announcement" thread, and I don't want people to have to scroll through 75 pages to find a new game announced.

Unless these "official" threads are somehow stickied to the front page. they will die off and be gone soon.

They are stickied.  We (mods) can sticky now. The problem is that the announcements will end up lost in the fray.

ButI'd like to disagree with you as on many forums threads like the official topics worked to cut announcement threads by at least 30%. Of course I'm not trying to stop discussion threads like what your wanting. The threads are meant as a main source of information on to what has been announced. Announced games wont be removed from the threads till they are released. Also I plan on removing posts so people know what page to look as there wil be posts on that page. 

So, what you're saying is you don't mind if threads are posted to discuss game announcements, but you'd also like the announcements to be posted in the annoucnement thread as well?  If that is your general idea, then I endorse it. 

ya, the main thread is jsut a tool to collect a list of games for that system that have been announced.
