I felt crappy at first, because I got a dead pixel on my 22" monitor I bought last November. I tried flashing random colors with pixel saving software, but it didn't work.

Then I turned the monitor off, grabbed a wet cloth, applied pressure to the spot with my finger, turned the monitor back on, let go, and VOILA! The pixel that was stuck bright green is back to normal.

Apparently it might happen again as pixels that stick tend to stick on multiple occasions, but at least I found a fix.

 Would this work on a PSP as well? Just on any LCD?

Also, does anyone know why my computer might just randomly edject the disc drive?

hello i have a question about a power supply.. i have an AM2 motherboard (K9Neo-F), with 2Gb Ram (667Mhz), AMD +3000, a Geforce 7300Gs, and one HDD 80Gb.... i bought the most "Heaviest" and affordable, for me, power supply (680W, i think thats the max output). its not a thermaltake nor a quality brand, just the most affordable... i want to upgrade this configuration..... with this config i can play call of duty 4 with medium to high settings, (excellent for me )... i'd like to remove the 80Gb HDD and add two HDD 250Gb each, besides i want to replace the cpu with an AMD 4200x2...

the main question is what video card should i buy??? im looking for a 8800Gt... or maybe a geforce 9 series... but i dont know if my power supply can handle that upgrade..

these are the values from my power supply lines: +3.3v (35A); +5v (50A); +12v1 (17A); +12v2 (18A) ; +5vsb (2A) ; -5v (0,5A); -12 (0,8A)...

PD: i have an energy connector (6-pin) for pci-E video cards...

Why can't I copy + paste with firefox?

like copy from the internet and paste it to somewhere to my computer like paint...

no idea on that one, kind of odd. Try restarting your computer or reinstalling it.

Can you copy and paste using control+c and control+v

Why that crappy CPU when you can get faster cheaper ones that doesnt run as hot? get a 4450e. 2.3GHz with only 45w of power used.

GPU - go with a 9600GT

But yes you will have to upgrade your PSU to something in the 800w range.

well, pasting to Paint works fine, but I can't paste it to where I store my pictures.

you cant paste it where u store your pictures. You have to paste onto paint and save it

Quite often my computer refuses to play embedded flash videos (ie. Youtube) until I clear my cookies and my Java console and restart my browser. It will play about three seconds (without sound) and then pause.

How do I fix this permanently?
