Here it is embeded:

Change poll to ask if we like Mega Evolutions! Make sure to have an undecided option!

Its GREAT! I love it!

Mega Evolutions look like they could throw up the game a bit, however I'm seriously not getting such a wow factor from many of the announced Pokemon and the Pikachu clone is just a no. At least Gen V had some pretty nifty Pokemon but we'll wait and see.

I really hate it. First, so far, from what I'm seeing everywhere is that all of them are called ''MegaMewtwo, MegaLucario'' etc... I seriously HOPE this is not the case and that they actualy have a better names then that,

Second, why are they ''mega''? Why can't they just be evolutions. Just for the sakes of ''new''? Why give them ''superior'' evolutions? Are those ''Mega'' evolutions superior in a way that everyone will need/want them?

Third, thank you for giving Blaziken a ''superior'' evolution and thank you for fucking over all the Mudkip/Treecko fans by making Torchic the obvious best of the 3... Because the fire types in general are not popular enough as it is... (Still unconfirmed that their won't be a Mega Sceptile and a Mega Swampert, but their better be cause otherwise I'll be pissed)

I was so excited about X/Y, and I gotta admit that this is kind of a deal breaker for me. I have no problems with the design of these pokémon themselves, but this is to me a obvious lack of creativity in favor or a cheap cash in of the past. Seems like they thought ''we are out of ideas, howcan we make pokémon still interesting... I know! We had evolutions, now let's add MEGA EVOLUTIONS! That will help the game feel still cool. And while were at it, let's screw with old fans by ruining their favorite past pokémons!''

Mega (just a name, don't kill yourself over it lol) because they're probably not gonna be permanent, meaning they're more like forms than evolutions. We don't yet know all the details of this or all the Pokemon that'll be getting new forms, so getting angry at this point is silly. Plus, they've been making loads of new pokemon every Gen, and this series has been going on for +10 years. I think going back to older pokemon and mixing them up a bit will help make them feel fresh n new and is nice fan service. Also, you can just not use Mega evolutions. Don't let an optional feature be a deal breaker, that's even more silly!

Yes, now I just learned like you said that they are forms and not evolutions and that they are temporary. But I can't just ignore them and not use them like you said. Because that would be dumb. They will obviously be more powerfull than ''normal'' form pokémons. And not only not using them give me a handicap, but also it will prevent me from enjoying every aspects of the game. So obviously, despite not liking them, I'll use them cause I will barely have a choice.

Also, from new informations that we got today. They need a stone specific for each pokémon. So obviously not all Pokémons will have a mega evolution. Not even most pokémon will have them. Hell, not even 5% of pokémons will have them. My problem is that these pokémons receiving mega evolution, they will automaticaly become better than others. Mega evolution is a way of giving unneeded and unfair love to certain pokémons. Why make Blaziken a ''Must have'' when he was already a really cool and popular pokémon? Why make Mewtwo a ''must have'' and elevating him above other legendaries when he was already a extremely popular legendary? Why give Mewtwo so much love and leave Luigia in the dust? And if Lugia eventualy gets one, why give him so much love and give so much disrespect the the HuhHoh fans? Etc...

Wich leave the my next point wich is Blaziken. The fact that Torchic will have a distribution event seriously makes me think that he is the only starter getting a mega evolution and this is why he's a big deal and why he is receiving such a attention receiving treatment. I already mentioned why I think mega evolution pokémon will be super rare, so I REALLY doubt that all starters will get mega evolutions... But if Blaziken get's it, we should ATLEAST expect all gen3 starter to also have mega evolution. Making all the Gen3 equal and blanced like it always was supposed to be. But if Torchic is getting distributed, you can easely ask yourself why not Treecko or Mudkip? Torchic being distributed is already unfair to the fans of the other 2. But the only reason I can find why is because Torchic has that mega evolution gimmick that XandY are betting on to feel fresh, so they need to make that gimmick as available as possible to sell the concept, meaning that the other 2 were ignored probably because they don't have that gimmick. So not only Torchic being distributed make fans like me, who always went with Mudkip, disapointed/frustrated becaus I wish I could get Mudkip via WiFI instead, but it's also showing me that all these years Mudkip was the wrong choice and that Torchic was the only true smart choice out of the 3 because he has that mega evolution. Making my favorite pokémon out of the 3 obsolete in favor of my rivals. And from now on, if the occasion ever occurs again, I'll be forced to take Torchic despite not being my favorite.

Offcaurse, maybe they will eventualy confirm that the other 2 also have mega evolutions, and will be distributed at a later date. If this happen, then you can erase that complaint. But untill it happens, giving a CLEAR advantage to one starter over the other 2 is beyond retarded. Like I said above, this is unneeded and unfair love towards Blaziken. He was already popular enough, already way more popular than the other 2, giving him more is just unfair.

And lastly, this is not a complaint, just a prediction. I said that probably less than 5% of pokémons will have these mega evolutions. So this means that imo everyone hoping for every starters from every gen getting one are fooling themselves. But I think that eventualy, due to the extremely strong fan demand, they won't have a choice but to give the original starters mega evolutions. And if it happens, they better give all 3 the same exact treatment. I swear if only Charizard gets a mega evolution just because he is the most popular of the 3... as a Blastoise fan I'll be soooo pissed.

Not sure what you're getting at here. Unless you absolutely need a Megalution pokemon to do something that no other type of pokemon can, then it's completely optional, just like every other pokemon in the game. For instance I don't ever use legendarys, not even the tournament legal ones, yet I've always managed to beat the story and win lot's of multiplayer battles. Also, it's silly to expect all pokemon to be 100% equal. Never has been the case, never will be.
