Pokemon fever is still strong where I live. I see teens in my area play Pokemon on 3DS/DS more often than I see them play anything on their "smart" devices.

Jason Schreier, one of the writers over at Kotaku, has confirmed that Nintendo will be holding a Pokemon X & Y presentation and question & answer session at E3 next month. The presentation will apparently be for an hour and a half and will begin at 6pm PT on June 11th. It’s not clear if this is going to be a roundtable event like we have had previous years.

I'm hoping that the 90 minutes presentation doesn't dwelve exclusively on X/Y. Would be nice to hear about other projects (keeping my fingers crossed for some type of Pokemon Snap reveal).

So, regarding Pokemon X/Y

What kinds of Pokemon do people actually want? I would like to see some new designs and new animals.

Dolphins, for example, seem a perfect fit for Pokemon - Theyre cute, kids love them, theyre easy enough to Poke-fy.

Another one Id like them to do is Saber-Tooth Tiger. That would be really cool, could be like the Ice version of Arcanine. If they can do Mamoswine and co. from a Wooly Mammoth, why not a STT Pokemon?

Considering how this game is set in Europe, how about a more European Dragon type? Think a mix of Charizard and Salamence.

One more... How about we have an actual, proper Wolf Pokemon? Not a Hyena. Not a Hound. Not a legendary. Just a Wolf.

Edit - Just had another though. A Lion spieces of Pokemon could be done quite well. Have it like NidoKing and NidoQueen, where there are differences through evolutions. The Male has more Att but is slower. The Female has more Def but is faster.

Sweet! I just hope they do not reveal all pokemons before the game is out... I for once (After Red and blue on the GBA) want to be surprised by finding an unknown pokemon again!

I feel bad that I hadn't replied to this! But I totally agree. I wonder why Nintendo still hasn't made a dolphin Pokemon...
