I think you are talking about the Yellow things on it's head. That isn't his beak in the shadow like picture, that is his crest.

No, the yellow things on Ho-oh's aren't long enough. Plus the wings on the hidden pokemon are slightly different shaped at the end.

I don't think so, but the differences are key when comparing the too birds. The rumor also stated that the hidden Pokemon is 3DS connected.

I don't know, but after doing some more research, I can't find any other bird pokemon similar to the hidden one! No beak is the same length and no wings seem to match! I think this is a new Pokemon!
