Thanks! Well, here are some figures to help us predict. I see B/W 2 selling in the 4.5Mil sweetspot in Japan. A little below the mainline entry (B/W @ 5.5M) and a little above the special entry (Yellow: Special Edition @ 3.12M) because it isn't just an expansion, it's a full-off sequel:

Yeah, and it's also hard to predict when you don't know 1st week sales for most pokemon games, and how many days B/W 2 will be out in japan on launch week.

Since June 23rd 2012 is a saturday, that gives B/W 2 two days on the market FW (I think the market week starts on Monday and ends on Sunday, correct me if I'm wrong).

Beyond that, here are some Japan FW sales for some pokemon games:

Woh! Thanks Blacksaber! The map has really changed a lot. (And not just the Ice.) I wonder what they're going to do for the Elite Four... anyone else notice the odd Brown edges, though?
