I wish there was a way to run the original. For gaming, it might not be so great. But for teaching planning concepts, it is far superior because it was basic in its presentation.

While I know they do get a little more complex in presentation, couldn't the newer ones still work pretty well for teaching planning concepts?

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

The problem is there are too many variables to manage, making it harder for the basic concepts (land use definitions, infrastructure, and moster attacks) to be readily seen.

I look ridiculous taking my SNES into class with me.

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

I still play SimCity 4/Rush Hour every now and then. Really addictive game.

I really hope this turns out to be true.

Thumbs up to you my good sir for mentioning Caesar III.

Caesar III, Pharoah and SC2000 have to be my three favourite in this genre.
