Seems Vita underperformed to PSP in general. Similar week 1 sales compared to the 3ds, but then again the 3ds has now hit a stride that will make it hard for competition to flourish.
Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

The site isn't reliable? They say they are using Chart Track numbers for those sales.
If the PSP sold 185k and the Vita is at about 1/4th of that, then that would put UK sales at about 46k then? If the 3DS sold 89k first week then that would be just over half of what the 3DS sold.

I'm not really surprised. In the UK it's all about smartphones and tablets now.. It's a different market.
Is it not week 0 over there, too?
Can anyone clear up how this source is getting around 47k for Vita UK launch sales and VGC has 95k? Very confused...

Fair enough, I find 49k hard to believe with the Vita software taking the top 2 positions in the all-format software charts too. It's possible either way as UFC sold pretty horrible, but getting a large share of the software charts off of 49k would be unrealisitic, baring in mind the 3DS didn't touch the top 5 with more sales
The launch week cannot predict the life of one system. I'd like to see How Vita performs next month.
