Not really hyped for GA to be honest.

it starts off weak but as you get further in you realise if any stuido besides Naughty Dog was going to make Uncharted.. it should be Sony Bend. its not even close to how good 2 or 3 is but its about level with 1. and 1 is fantastic. you will really enjoy it if you enjoy uncharted

So I will dislike it, I love Uncharted 2 and 3, but very much dislike the boring Uncharted 1. Guess I will get Gravity Daze first for sure now.

i dont really think its comparable.

i think its been a wonderful game so far, i feel like i have put at least 8 hours into it, and its says im only 52% complete. so its really long, which is great.

the game doesnt have as many or big set pieces, but its got lots of great gameplay, unlike the great aiming system in the console Uncharted's, this one can be a little difficult at first, but once you get a hang of it, its deeply rewarding. also there is lots of platforming, and exploring. and some really fun turret sections where you mow down thugs, its great.

i think its a really great game, you should definitely try it out, i cant say its better or worse than the console ones, its just different, tailored for the portable.

but in all, its very fun, and deep.

I will pick it up eventually, but at $50, seems kind of priced a bit high, and it doesn't help that people compare it to number 1.

yeah, i dont think any portable game is worth $50, which is why i didnt pay that much for it!

if you live in america, you should try lockerz.com

thats where i got my 3G PS Vita for $245, my 32GB memory card for $75, and Uncharted: Golden Abyss for $35.

the shipping is slow, but the prices are unbeatable. and i definitely think its worth $35.

Canada, but I do look for some deals here and there. I am pretty sure on boxing day or HMV will leave the video game market, to cause me to buy the game for very cheap.

i think they might ship to Canada. but yeah, you probably can find deals

If that's true, it means that third party software doesn't sell on the Vita.

EDIT: The video was posted on February 22nd. Hm...

No, it just means Uncharted is the biggest launch game they got in EU/NA. Do you think an original Call of Duty or GTA wouldn't sell as much at launch?

GTA might, but CoD will probably sell fairly badly. At least compared the console versions.

Disagree, an original call of duty would sell a crapload imo. I think a port would probably do mediocre to bad numbers

This is an excellent sign for Sony in general. They needed to make their exclusives must-buys, very much like Nintendo and MS have been able to pull off (Nintendo much more so). To have uncharted sell 2:3 with every system sold is GREAT for the franchise.

This is a positive step for Sony's direction, and makes them a more worthy competitor to the others by that same effect.

Good!

Unlikely. Uncharted is the showcase title at launch, alot of reviews expose as quite an average game with brilliant gfx but the scores are inflated for launch title sake. had the Vita been brimming with other titles of the same quality i doubt its numbers would be so high. Any big 3rd party titles like FF, GTA, COD, Metal gear or would probably still trample Uncharted in terms and sony need to get them on the Vita!

COD will only be a game changer if they sell the multiplayer as a stand alone $30 maybe $40 title and allow it to connect with your ps3 COD. As for 1st parties, i suspect resistance and killzone will fail whilst LBP will do incredibly well.

GTA may very well beat UC: Top PSP game

FF is a maybe: Series has been in decline

Not Metal Gear: barely beats UC on consoles, Peace Walker didn't do super well.

COD is a huge wildcard: many people doubt its ability in the portable space, sales on PSP weren't super exciting either (consider even MoH).

Plus, I was talking about Sony's 1st/2nd party sorry if unclear. In this case, UC beats LBP in brand power.

In quality, I haven't played either, not even on Vita so I couldn't tell ya, but if PS3 sales are an indicator, UC wins. Then again, LBP is more suited for touch portable gaming, so LBP may have a better long-term curve than UC, but I doubt it. I see UC continue its 2:3 trend for most of Vita's existence without a UC sequel.

The point of my post was to say that a game which sells side-by-side with a Sony system is GREAT news for the manufacturer. We haven't seen that happen since Crash Bandicoot or GT3 really. It's fantastic news.

wow, i thought the highest selling game on PSP was about 5mil so im shocked!

This is understandable as Uncharted: Golden Abyss currently seems to be the main focusing game on PS Vita (unsure on whether I should purchase one).

Hooray! That's really awesome.

Is the game any good. I own UC1, UC2, UC3 they all are great but and feedback on Uncharted GB? It's ratings aren't so great though.

sounds good...Sony should be clever and also put Uncharted as a launch title for the PS4...just makes the brand even stronger and everybody loves some Uncharted!

i just wanted to add some anecdotal evidence.

while using near it says 10 people are within a 2 mile radius of me.

9 of these people allow for their history and profile to be viewed.

of these 9 people 6 own Uncharted: Golden Abyss.

With me included thats 7/10 people with Uncharted!!!

so that number is inline with the 65% that jack tretton said, in fact its even more!!!
