I still can't rap my head around this game's existence when LBP is supposed to be a platform to create other games... This should just be an expansion for LBP2 and LBPV....

95% sure this game will be also released on PS Vita, they just didn't want to announce it now. They will announce at GDC or E3 and it will feature cross gameplay and PS3/PSV will share save, creations and DLC.

As long as it's on PS3 I'm happy. Loved MNR and I am definitely up for seeing what MM can do with a purpose built kart game.

LBP2 may be a pltaform for games, but it can never be turned towards a proper karting experience. For that you need a purpose built game. MNR was a very good test platform for play create share in karting, and now MM with it's awesomeness can perfect it.

This title is very high on my most anticipated games list now.

Well, technically Mario Kart is more successful on home consoles, so they want somethng like that on their own.

But yeah Vita needeed it more than the ps3 I think.


You are absolutely right that it sells better on the home consoles, but 20 million+ sales on DS aint too bad.  I think there was room for both games, portable and not, hopefully they release a portable sequel at least.
