My xbox and my Wii broke. Funny story, I got a new HDtv, came home, get it all set up, I turn on my xbox, and my heart sinks. Before me are three red lights screaming "DOOM, WE WILL EAT YOUR SOUL". I yelled "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"  I think I yelled it more then once. Then my dog dies. We can assume that video games did it.

So, right after my dog died, my friend comes over to mourn with me. We decided to play some DKCR. But what happens when I turn on my Wii and try to boot up the game? DISK READ ERROR. I thought maybe it was just a one time thing. DISK READ ERROR. So I thought it might just be the game. DISK READ ERROR. I thought two of my games might not work so I tried a third. DISK READ ERROR. I tried my friends game that he brought over. DISK READ ERROR. At this point there was no denying it. My Wii was doomed. So I yelled "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!", and proceeded to blame my friend for breaking it.

So what lesson can we learn here? Video games are evil. EVIL. They lead to death and betrayal.

Maybe you're just evil..an evil banana to be exact! Everybody flee, he's an evil banana of DOOM!

lol what a bad day.

My PS1 fell off the table a couple of times from a little bit too much enthusiasm yanking on the controller. (Those cords are just a tad too short) From the kitchen table onto the hard floor, disk flying out and all. No problem.
Nowadays you don't even dare to move your console an inch when it's running.

My Wii also finally bit the dust from disc read errors. I did have a habit of never turning it off though. Replacement 2nd hand wii is working great. Not leaving it on all the time anymore.

Wessle.....I guess this is back to the Snes for you then . Right?
It is kind of crazy, because I do not know how many times my Wii has fallen off the stand on to the ground. Still works great! Not to mention that I picked my wii up used back in 2008 I believe. Nintendo makes extremely decent products. Did you drag it through a sand pit or put it through a car wash maybe?

My SNES is not in use. I can't find the cords for it >_< My NES's video cord is broken. and my N64's cords are lost too. I have nothing to fall back on!

Everything is ok, you're  just high.

Actually, a more accurate statement would be: "World War Two caused videogames"... because look at how many WWII-themed shooters and other games we've had over the years lol.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Masturbation.

Buy a Saturn or Dreamcast 2nd hand.

I call BS.

If any of this is true though you better check the plug, and stop using the new TV asap...
