This means what we all expected: The Vita is not predicted to sell well.

"Buy two, get one"

I really hope you meant "buy two for the price of one"

So by that definition. Retailers must have expected the 3DS to fail at launch too then. I remember seeing many stores doing a buy two, get one at the start.

Dear God...

I knew someone would throw that one at me but no, this is not even comparable. Amazon, Gamestop and Target are three concrete examples of great retailers trying to get this thing off their shelves. Now, please tell me which stores you remember doing this for the 3DS at launch.

And no, that's not a definition. It's an analysis.

Walmart, Gamestop, Amazon, Bestbuy. Also it wasn't throwing it in your face.

I never said it was aimed at my face, and as far as evidence go you may just be lying to prove your point. For instance I highly doubt you checked out all these retailers for special 3DS offerings and even less that they got stuck in your head.

Oh well, roadblock reached.

Yeah that roadblock might be reached because I might be lying. Lol. Back to Oath in Felghana.

The best I can find was that Toys R Us was running a Buy 1, get second at half off sale at 3DS launch.

Amazon and Best Buy ran Buy 2, Get 1 (third game free) sales in July, several months after launch and more video games than just the 3DS.

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

I have seen Amazon, Gamestop, and Target doing "buy two, get one" sales on (at least some) Vita software.

EDIT -- It's buy 2, get 1 FREE -- or three for the price of two.

Can anyone remember such a sale AT LAUNCH for any system?

I remember seeing Toys R Us doing those type of promotions the second holiday season of the Wii (when it was still hot and rare) and Target doing them perodically over the last couple of yeasr for all systems. But I never remember a system launching into a 33% sales.

Am I wrong about this?

And what might this mean for the system?

Mike from Morgantown

I care.

*Rides off into the sunset*

Just retailers doing whatever they feel will make them the most money.
