Thanks for the heads up.  Found it on www.thehut.com where I get all my imports from for the same date and price.   So May 4th may be correct.

Both Zavvi and thehut are part of same group, that's why they have similar stock/prices/dates. We will have to wait for other retailers to put their pre-order pages before assuming this is the date.

It's just a placeholder date for now, weird that it's only two months away.

Maybe but in Thehut.com's Nintendo Day (every Monday) email they had it prominent to pre-order.  Odd if they weren't sure of the date.

It could be (and I'm hoping here I know) that Nintendo has some Wii games left to announce at E3 so this is 'filler' for NoE/NoJ until then.

More details on the game, plus a Japanese release date from Famitsu.

According to the magazine, the game will feature a “Haunted House” mode. This has players progressing through a haunted mansion, as you would expect. A rating will be provided at the end of your journey, which is based on the amount of fear you encountered.

Famitsu also mentions enhanced graphics and new controls for the PlayStation 2 remake.

Project Zero 2: Wii Edition is scheduled for June 28. It’ll cost 6,800 yen. The title is also due out in Europe/Australia this year.

Confirmed in a press release: European launch date will be the 29th of June.

Also available this summer, Project Zero 2: Wii Edition is the latest terrifying addition to the Project Zero series coming exclusively to Wii also on June 29th.
