Forums - Gaming - Rumour – Final Fantasy XIII-2 to have Mass Effect DLC

VG247

The generally reliable Siliconera has a strange anonymous source tale today, claiming that an upcoming Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC pack will contain a Mass Effect-inspired costume. There’s already an Assassin’s Creed outfit thanks to a deal with Ubisoft, and Square Enix and EA have worked together in the past, so it’s not totally mad.

Sounds promising actually.

IDK if i would purchase any outfits for my Final Fantasy Character. Seems like a waste.

I much prefer the Coliseum and Episode DLCs. Unless costumes give you passive abilities?

What's the point?

I'll be buying the Sazh DLC, but i'm not a fan of paying for costumes. Cool for those people who do wish to buy them though.

Not buying any DLC for this game. I see no point in buying costumes....especially ones that are completely unrelated to the game.

It seems odd to me that Square would team up with the franchise that has taken their crown of RPG critical darling, but I guess if you can't beat'em . . .

Costumes are really only for LOLZ or other things. So, I mean, it doesn't take much work (I think) and if they use it for cross promotional purpose or it sells some then good for them I guess. I mean, I'd probably get it if it meant I could dress female shephard up like serah if it was cross promotional purposes.

I prefer this method, as opposed to all the other games which is no different costumes (not counting X-2). But resonance of fate had like a bazillion costumes though a lot were reskins. I really think Square should include costumes in the actual game now. I mean they made like a gazillion adornments for the monsters.

But overall I call B.S. This is kind of pointless, and with ubisoft they've done this kinda thing before. And I think SE publishes all their games in Japan. Websites need to quit using anonymous source so many of them just make up crap like ESPN, gaming sites etc.

Considering Squeenix under Wada offers it will probably cost 4.99 per costume.
