Forums - Gaming - Biggest daily newspaper in Europe about the PS Vita!

Bad newspaper is bad.

Here in Portugal i dont read much newspapers but on Game and stores that sell games people who already played on Vita said very good things.

I was seeing some kids playing on Xbox other day on Kinect in exposition (alot) i have seen a guy who had play Vita saying Console is awesome.

Bild is actually very good journalism. The target audience is the "common man" and they hit the target squarely.

So, they sucessfully aim for the lowest common dennominator? That's not good journalism. That's feeding mush to the masses.

well they were disingenous about both things in that sentence.

1) the MOST expensive games are 40 (most being below that, furthermore im sure most retailers have game below the suggested price)

2) they offer great complexity over their iphone counteparts

Actually not. They just write things so that their target audience understands them.

Ever tried to write complex political situations in a couple of sentences so that every blue-collar worker would understand?

Yes. I practice with my younger brother.

i thought i could read something positive about the Vita for once, apart from Sony fans, when i saw the title and yet it was negative

you can't say Vita games have no more complexity than iShit mini-games, for christ's sake

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

So people are complaining about the article and call it "Trash journalism"?

Why not talk about the implications of this? What will be the effect on Vita sales in Germany? Any thoughts?

Well, considering that it was basically Bild that made the German president quit his job, this article's impact shouldn't be underestimated.

Exactly. Those 12 million readers always do what Bild says, cause otherwise the might stop printing the girl of the day.

And since those 12 million readers correlate 100% with Sonys target audience, the Vita is in for some trouble.
