Fans of zombies and and reapers alike tonight will get an extra treat. A new trailer for Mass Effect 3 will be aired tonight during the latest episode of AMC's The Walking Dead, a show about a group of survivors trying to get by in a world infested with the undead.

The ninety second "Take Earth Back" trailer will use realistic computer-generated imaging and feature Commander Shepard countering the reaper threat in America's heartland. A small teaser of the trailer has been released on the BioWare blog, showing an innocent young girl suddenly finding her home invaded by the ancient and merciless reapers.

The trailer is set to air at 9/8 Central. Tucsonans should check with their local provider, as some services may air the show at different times. If you end up missing the show/trailer, there will no doubt be a release of the trailer for later viewing via BioWare or on the Mass Effect 3 Youtube page.

It was a pretty good trailer. Hyped for the game even more now.

It was an alright trailer and as usual The Walking Dead was the shiz!

Eh, it was pretty cool. Graphics were amazing but it doesn't do anything for me, having never played the 1st and never finished the 2nd one.

looks like the pulled a Square-enix (did with deus ex) with the trailer, beings mass effect FMV's never looked that good before.

Or the FMV's actually look uncompressed for once which is good.

The trailer pretty much just lets people know when ME3's coming out. Nothing particularly informative about gameplay/graphics/story other than aliens invading!

still I'm excited for this. Quite a bit.

The three-minute cinematic trailer for ME2 looked almost exactly this good. EA really tends to go over the top funding these FMVs and commercials.

And Crap, I didn't type what I meant exactly I think. But, maybe you took it how I meant it.

SE did exactly that, The FF FMV team did the advertisement  FMV's for Deus Ex, and when you get get to the actual game the FMV's looked aweful even though there were scenes exactly like in the trailer.

Not that I care, that much as I love both that game and ME2. Just it seems a bit misleading.
