lol that was pretty good SSJ. I honestly expect the PS3 to outsell the 360 worldwide for most of 2008, but I don't expect it to actually pass it in 2008, but rather "catch up" so to speak. It will then be closer to equal from then on.

Wii should be at or above 50% by the end of the year. PS3 will close a lot of the gap between it and the 360 this year, but I think they will be pretty close for the whole generation, in a Xbox/Gamecube-like battle for second place.

Yeah the Wii will probably pass 50% by the end of the year, especially if Nintendo ups production levels which I'm thinking they should at this point and reach DS level of sales.

could the Wii do in 08 what PS2 did in 02?

Haha I believe it will be 50% by holiday season this year, maybe sooner if there's another summer gaming drought where no good games are coming out cause even during those times last year Wii sold out so it could easily gain a lot of ground during those times. I think the 360 and PS3 will have its fight for 2nd but I would expect 360 to win in the end mostly because there's a bigger gaming market here in the USA and the 360 still outsells PS3 here, so maybe some longer legs for 360 while PS3 is going to have its big surge of buyers this year, 360 will be consistent.

Wii's attainable goals for 2008:

Surpass hardware total of Xbox 360 in America
Corner 50% of the total next gen hardware sales
Mario Galaxy outsells Halo 3
(America only) Win first place in both software(looks like Mario Galaxy will take first place for Jan.) (except GTA's month?) and hardware totals every single month of 2008
