Ah, excuse me, i thought for whatever reason that this was not good-natured ribbing. If it is, then that's a perfectly acceptable comeback.

Oh ya it is a good natured thing like for example, me and my friends may make fun of each for our beliefs or girls we may like, but it's in a healthy funny way. Sorry for the misunderstanding!

Now you misunderstand me. I do these things with my friends as well, i was just assuming that what RTCJunkie had mentioned was more mean-spirited than that.

Hmm I suppose then he should just tell her to stop messing with him and don't come to him about her problems anymore.

You could tell her what you said in your OP(about your feelings), just tell her you feel bad about sometimes not having the respect you should have and tell her that you will try to not say any comments that could offend her because of her sexuality.

After that, I think she will understand and the relationship will be very healthy.

Give her back the strap-on that she used on you

IMO long explanations are useless if you think this friendship has no future at all.

Just tell her the facts:

"Being together with you makes me feel unhappy we changed and I believe our friendship has no future. We should just Ignore each other from now on and have a distant but polite relationship. "

To avoid any further discussion say following:

"Its entirely my fault that it ended this way, I am just weird like that"

Make a calm and collected expression while saying that be friendly. People usually understand that you really want to end it for good. No reason to tell her how you feel she is not your friend anymore and people seldom change .

Delete her from your facebook friend list. That'll do the trick.

Spit on her and tell her she's pathetic.

Real answer: First I would like to know what you said to her. Does she put you down because of your beliefs because those beliefs put her down? Or is she just plain rude despite you being accepting of her?

But anyway, you should tell her what you've said here. "I don't get much respect from you and this relationship is hurting both of us"

Or you could say your church or family or Jesus group of some kind doesn't like homosexuals, so you can't be friends with her.

This^, actually. Unless you want to be straight and tell her the actual problem.

if you're a christian and she's a lesbian then you really don't have much to worry about.

EDIT: And I've clicked that link of yours about 3 times now, each time thinking it's something cool about the dead sea scrolls or Jesus' brother James or his visits to India or how he was actually a Buddhist etc. Very disappointing - both the link and my memory.
