Forums - Sony - Online Pass makes it into North American Vita titles

Last month, word came out that the Japanese version of Hot Shots Golf: World Invitationalfor the PlayStation Vita included an online pass. With the embargo on North American Vita coverage lifted, we can now confirm that the American version does indeed feature an online pass. Of the Vita games we've acquired so far, Wipeout 2048 is the only other title to feature an online pass.

Those are currently the only titles with passes available on the US PlayStation Store, so it would seem that the rest of the launch lineup is free of the online pass's ten-dollar grip -- for now.

Good. One of the PSP's biggest problems was that all the games seemed like watered down console experiences. I'm glad Sony isn't making that mistake this time.
